About

Routebase is an API lifecycle platform for the teams that own an API. You design the API in a visual OpenAPI editor, and from that single source of truth Routebase derives the documentation portal, the mock server, the contract tests, and the monitors. When you change the contract and publish, Routebase compares the new version with the previous one, flags breaking changes, and validates the live API against the updated spec.

The desktop app gives you the complete Routebase workspace as a native Windows application, with the same projects, specs, and permissions as the web app. It requires a Routebase account, which you can create for free. Windows 11 is the supported platform; the installer still runs on Windows 10 from version 1809.
