About

TigerMarkView is a Windows desktop application for reading and reviewing Markdown files on your computer, with PDF export.

The installer includes the graphical viewer and the tiger-mark Markdown-to-PDF command, adds its folder to PATH, and offers TigerMarkView under Open with for .md and .markdown files without changing your default app.

Settings and the recent-file list stay on this PC, and TigerMarkView itself has no telemetry. Web images that a document refers to are downloaded from the addresses it names; in the viewer this is on by default and can be turned off under View > Rendering > Load Remote Images, while the tiger-mark command always downloads them. Links in a document never open files on network shares.
